Standards-Aligned Learning

All courses meet or exceed state and national academic standards and count toward an official high school diploma. Our programs are:

Note: Salinger Academy does not require state testing for enrollment or graduation. Students are assessed through flexible, authentic measures of learning and mastery—not standardized exams.

We offer two courseware platforms to fit student preferences and learning needs:

  • Salinger Academy Learning Portal – Our customizable course system built by Salinger educators and infused with AI-powered supports. Ideal for students seeking a more flexible, interactive, and tailored experience.
  • Edgenuity – A robust virtual platform with structured pacing, commonly used for credit recovery, CTE pathways, and AP coursework. Ideal for families seeking a familiar interface.

Both platforms include:

  • Certified teacher and advisor support
  • Self-paced learning and rolling start dates
  • Built-in accessibility tools and AI-driven personalization
  • Access to electives, AP, and career courses

Flexible Pacing & Personalized Assessment

We believe learning should be measured by meaningful progress—not high-stakes exams.

  • No state-mandated testing or exit exams required for graduation
